Are you a fan of Valentine’s Day? I sure am. Doesn’t hurt that I get to spend it with the love of my life.
If you’re in need of a few simple, last-minute ideas, here’s what I did this year.
A few gifts for James. (I’ll show you what’s inside after he opens them!) The adorable XOXO gift bag is from the Target dollar section- you can find some great stuff there! The wrapping paper is a free printable from Thirty Handmade Days that I found on Pinterest. The canvas is for our wedding guestbook table, and the hearts on the garland are from the amazing Lisa Leonard. (They’ll also be making an appearance at the wedding in May.)
I’ve had this vase for a few years now- think I found it at Ross? The basket is filled with the new cherry chocolate M&Ms. Have you tried them yet? If you’re a fan of the chocolate + cherry combo, you’ll love them. Burger King used to have this milkshake called the Love Shake in February- it tasted like a chocolate covered cherry in a cup- and I loved it! Wonder if they still have it… This picture is from the day we got engaged. James took me on a dinner cruise and proposed during dessert- the guide and the rest of the passengers decided that we had to go back to the middle of the lake for a picture.
This adorable printable is from it is what it is. Beth has a great post on the many different ways you can use it, from candy wrapper to lunch bag. And the scrabble tiles are yet another wedding item that turned out to be perfect for Valentine’s decor.
