It’s Friday again! Three lovely little words… Here’s my week in pictures.

Mustard ruffle flats from Target. Love them!

Thursday night I forgot my wallet at my fiancé’s house- he texted me to let me know, but I forgot to get it. Until I was halfway to Target, in search of some tablecloths to repurpose as curtains. After going back and retrieving my wallet, I made it to Target, where I did not find tablecloths. At least, not the ones I was looking for. However, I did find an adorable long-sleeved tee with a little floral trim for $5.20. And I stocked up on gel, mousse, and contact solution. It wasn’t until I was in the checkout line that I realized that every item I bought was purple!

We’re starting a new food tradition- weekend burgers. This was the first installment, and they were GOOD, y’all.

James and I took a quick break from homework (me) and dissertation writing (him) to enjoy some cocoa and cheesecake. It was a nice little mini-date right in the middle of our evening.

After a very long day on Tuesday, I came home to find a surprise package at my door! My wonderful mother sent me an early bridal shower present- another set of my favorite purple dishes. They’re made by Longaberger, and they ROCK- freezer to oven, never chip, and the color is gorgeous. Of course, they’ve “retired” the eggplant color, so now we have to search it out on Ebay or buy it up when they bring it back for “a limited time only.”

17. clock. This is the minute my weekend began last Friday!

18. drink: I was in the mood for something icy and sweet, and then I remembered Affogato style. They pour espresso shots over top of the frap- gives it the perfect coffee edge and cuts the sweetness.

20. handwriting: Went through some old journals and realized that my handwriting used to be MUCH neater. And yes, I've been practicing writing my soon-to-be last name.

21. favorite pic of myself: This one. It's the wallpaper on my phone and it makes me happy every time I see it.

22. where i work: Yes, that's my messy desk. Yes, it pretty much always looks like that.

23. shoes: My sweet fiancé got these for me on my birthday. I love their sparkle... and the fact that they're neutral enough to go with almost everything!

This weekend I’m looking forward to some R&R, dinner with good friends, and more house-hunting with my sweet fiancé. What does your weekend have in store?
